Welcome to the home page of award winning composer Dan Slider. Dan has scored over 1000 hours of primetime television programming. His theme songs for shows such as America’s Funniest Home Videos, Chicken Soup For The Soul, etc... provide memorable branding. He has orchestrally scored 2 of ABC-TV’s higher rated movie of the weeks ("For The Love Of Nancy”/"Touched By Evil") In addition he has scored and/or orchestrated/conducted music on over 20 feature films. His music library cues can be heard on programs as diverse as CSI NY and Dexter, to Australian Idol. In addition to TV and film, Dan was the co-composer with Jim Harbert on the Lido Theatre Production of C’est Magique which ran for 10 years on the Champs Elysee in Paris. Currently, Dan is composing concert works for orchestra for his new CD, “Symphonic”, performed by the Skywalker Symphony.
